MSPAINT is a band with a song called “Hardwired”. I created this concept mainly influenced by that song and the band’s energy. I wanted to incorporate the idea of neuroplasticity, malleability, and a little bit of chaos because of the song being somewhat aggressive and energetic. I used colors from 3D glasses as a fun element and the typeface featured on the back as an idea of transformation as it begins to dissipate down the back.
The image on the front was a found image from an old National Geographic ad that I then manipulated to create the graphic. The layering of the juxtaposing typefaces is a fun dynamic between opposing shapes.
